What is a Job Study (JSS)?
Job Analysis , also known as a Job Study, is a tool that identifies in detail the risk factors—such as ergonomic, chemical, or physical—present in each job, in order to prevent occupational diseases and accidents.
This practice allows for the evaluation of everything from the environment to the tools used, considering the worker's occupational history to intervene before damage or bad habits arise .
Risks to which miners and artisanal jewelers are exposed
Artisanal mining and jewelry making carry multiple risks:
